No. DRACOON was acquired by Kiteworks, Inc. in 2023 - a US company headquartered in San Mateo, California. Even though the servers remain in Germany, the parent company is subject to the US CLOUD Act. SecureCloud is and remains an independent German company with no foreign ownership.
No. SecureCloud is available from just 2 users (Business plan). On the Advanced and Enterprise plans, the minimum starts at 10 users. DRACOON, by contrast, requires a minimum of 50 licenses (Basic & Pro) or 100 licenses (Premium).

No. SecureCloud's Business plan has no minimum contract term. You can cancel on a monthly basis.
This is a legitimate concern. Since Kiteworks has already migrated ownCloud customers to its own platform, there is a real risk that DRACOON customers will be affected next. Switching to SecureCloud early gives you full control over the timing and terms of any migration - rather than being dependent on a decision driven by a US corporation.
