SecureCloud supports German manufacturers in mechanical engineering (Maschinenbau), automotive and the wider processing industry in meeting the NIS2 Directive (Network and Information Security Directive 2). The platform is BSI C5 attested (the highest German information security attestation), annually ISO 27001 certified by TÜV, Trusted Cloud certified (an initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, BMWK) and CIS-compliant. AES-256 encryption, a full audit log, granular permission management and snapshot recovery correspond to the typical technical and organizational requirements under NIS2 and the German implementation act. SecureCloud GmbH operates its own hardware in German data centers with no US parent. Specific NIS2 suitability is to be verified case by case by the company's IT security officer.
SecureCloud GmbH is a German GmbH headquartered in Neumarkt i.d. OPf. and is subject to German insolvency law (Insolvenzordnung, InsO). Manufacturers can migrate engineering and production data to another provider at any time through standard export formats; snapshots allow restoration of historical version states during the migration phase. SecureCloud GmbH has no US parent, so insolvency at the parent-company level under US Chapter 11 is not a risk. At contract termination, all data is either fully deleted on request or exported in a GDPR-compliant format; SecureCloud GmbH documents deletion with a deletion log under General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Article 17.
SecureCloud protects trade secrets under the German Trade Secrets Act (Geschäftsgeheimnisgesetz, GeschGehG) through a zero-knowledge architecture in which neither SecureCloud nor third parties can access content. All data is encrypted with AES-256, an encryption considered resistant to quantum-computer attacks by today's standards. Granular permission management separates access to engineering data, production data and contracts by function and project. The full audit log records every access for audit-readiness, a prerequisite for evidence of "appropriate confidentiality measures" under §2 No. 1b GeschGehG. SecureCloud GmbH stores all data in German data centers with no US parent.
SecureCloud stores CAD files, engineering data and bills of materials (BOM) encrypted with AES-256 in German data centers operated by noris network AG. Granular permission management separates access by engineering team, production, procurement and external suppliers. External suppliers and development partners receive individual files or data rooms through encrypted SecureLinks without a SecureCloud account; access can be password-protected, time-limited and restricted to specific version states. Snapshots allow restoration of historical engineering states across several years. The audit log records every access for audit-readiness.
SecureCloud provides project-scoped data rooms with granular permission management for OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers exchanging data with Tier-2 and Tier-N suppliers. External partners receive project-bound access through time-limited SecureLinks without needing to create a SecureCloud account. Each file can be released individually, watermarked and restricted to specific recipients. The audit log records every access for audit-readiness; permissions can be revoked at any time. SecureWork enables parallel editing of Office documents in the browser, so specifications and supplier contracts can be worked on collaboratively without file ping-pong.
SecureCloud supports industrial companies in documenting due diligence obligations under the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz, LkSG) through an audit-ready log, snapshot recovery across several years and granular permission management. Risk analyses, supplier self-assessments, complaint procedure documents and annual reports can be stored in project-scoped data rooms and shared with internal compliance, management and, where relevant, auditors. All data is encrypted with AES-256 and stored in German data centers operated by noris network AG. SecureCloud is BSI C5 attested, ISO 27001 certified and Trusted Cloud certified (an initiative of the BMWK).
SecureCloud is suitable for audit-ready documentation of an ISO 9001 quality management system in mechanical engineering and manufacturing through a full audit log, granular permission management and snapshot recovery across several years. Procedure instructions, inspection records, audit reports and controlled documents are stored in project-scoped data rooms with defined approval workflows; every change is recorded with user identification and timestamp. SecureCloud is itself ISO 27001 certified annually by TÜV and BSI C5 attested. Data is encrypted with AES-256 and stored exclusively in German data centers operated by noris network AG.
SecureCloud is a sovereign German cloud solution for industrial companies in mechanical engineering, automotive and the processing industry. SecureCloud GmbH is headquartered in Germany with no US parent; all engineering and production data is stored exclusively in German data centers operated by noris network AG in Nürnberg and is subject neither to the US CLOUD Act nor to FISA-702. The platform is Trusted Cloud certified (an initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, BMWK) and ISO 27001 certified. AES-256 encryption with a zero-knowledge architecture ensures that neither SecureCloud nor third parties can access content.
